The safety of our students, staff, and visitors comes before everything else we do at Calvary Christian Academy. This page collects the school safety notices and disclosures that Nevada law asks every private school to make available to its community.

Emergency Operations Plan:
CCA maintains a comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan as required by NRS 394.1687. The plan is developed and reviewed by a committee that includes school leadership, teachers, parents, and local law enforcement, fire, and emergency management representatives, and it is reviewed and updated every year.

Notice of Annual Review:
The 2026 annual review of the Emergency Operations Plan was completed, and the updated plan approved by the school's governing body, on August 13, 2026.

2026 Notice of Completion

The plan itself contains security sensitive information and is provided to responding agencies rather than published, in keeping with NRS 394.1698. Parents receive a summary of our emergency procedures, including reunification and communication protocols, at the start of each school year.

Nevada Statutes:
Nevada law directs schools to share the statutes that govern school emergency planning:

NRS 388.253, Nevada Department of Education model plan
NRS 394.168 through 394.1699, crisis and emergency response in private schools

Student Wellbeing:
In accordance with NRS 394.1693, we share the resources of the Nevada Office of Suicide Prevention.
If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

School Service Providers:
CCA uses the following technology providers in the operation of the school. Information about each provider's privacy and data security practices is available from the provider: FACTS, our student information system for enrollment, attendance, and family records, and PikMyKid, our dismissal and parent notification system.

Questions about school safety at CCA are always welcome. Contact the school office at 775-333-6271 or info@ccareno.org.
