Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered, classical education as an extension of the ministry of Calvary Chapel Reno Sparks, fostering virtue, spiritual maturity and academic rigor.

By partnering with families, we aim to disciple students in a love for God and His Word, preparing them to apply biblical values and wisdom in every area of life.

Our Vision is to cultivate a generation of Christ-centered disciples who are deeply rooted in faith, equipped with wisdom, and inspired by a love for truth. Our objective is to prepare students to pursue God’s calling in every area of life, whether in higher education, careers, family, ministry, or mission fields, so that they may impact their communities and the world as compassionate, faithful leaders who live out the teachings of Christ.

Who We Are

Calvary Christian Academy (CCA) is a private “exempt” Christian school serving grades K-6 in Reno, Nevada. As a ministry of Calvary Chapel Reno Sparks, we are dedicated to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and virtue development through a classical, faith-based education. We focus on developing the whole child:

Our Honor Code

Ask a CCA student what we expect of them and they can tell you in four words. Courage, Obedience, Respect, and Diligence. Together they spell CORD, and our students learn them by name, with the Scripture behind each one.

This is what virtue formation actually looks like day to day. Not a poster in a hallway, but four specific things a child can practice, be corrected in, and grow into.
